This is called the Mystery Box. I used this in my science class where pupils get object inside the mystery box. I vary the approach on how to do it depending on the activity and the grade level. This add the element of surprise and excitement to pupils where they will reveal certain materials or mystery. All the teacher needs is the creativity on how to make used of it and on how to introduce it to pupils to make it more interesting but challenges the creative and higher order thinking skills of the child.
1. Pupils will get object from the box. They will not show it to their classmates but he/she will let them guess the object/ things or picture by giving them clues. Pupils can give the characteristics of the materials he/she fund inside as his/ her clues for them to guess and answer.

3. Color Wheel
This instructional material can be used in a variety of ways. It will just take the creativity of the teacher on how to maximize it.
Here are some few ways on how I used my color wheel in my class.
a. I used it to see how the colors combine when pupils turn the wheel. This is during the colors of the light and rainbow topic in science 3. Pupils can give their observation and conclusion about how other colors where form.
b. Spin the wheel- (Colored Groups) In the colored groups, each group will given colors according to the color found in the wheel. One volunteer pupil will turn the wheel. When the wheel stops turning the color that stops where the arrow is located will be the group who will present or perform the activity.
Sometimes I assign different task in every color. When the specific color stops in the arrow all the groups will perform the task assign to the given color within the allotted time. The group who can do it perfectly will get a point. The group who can get the biggest points will be declared as winner. With this pupils develop their creativity, social skills and their HOTS together with the values of humility, acceptance, and unity.

Since the kit provides many activities pupils will then are ask to choose which activity they like to perform in consonance with the given topic. After that pupils will be ask to defend why the activity they choose relates to the given topic and their conclusion.
